To support Laura Bee's International Work: gofundme.com/BeeTour

I am in deep Service to the Earth and to the voiceless or traumatized, I have always been a volunteer: representing kids in the foster care system as a Guardian ad Litem, helping create organizations such as Pollinator Project Rogue Valley, relief work during Hurricane Katrina and more. Financially these are not sound choices, but my spirit feels more at peace when I am following my heart into the world of solution. I felt needed and valuable in this service. I feel I was born to do this. I speak for the Bee. I speak for seed integrity. I speak for humanity's return to Harmony. Not only do I think it is possible, I KNOW it is Possible. I am witnessing change from my efforts. When you support this fundraiser, you are not only supporting my own dream, you are supporting an impassioned speaker for the planet. You are supporting someone who is brave enough to challenge the system and think outside the box. You are supporting a unique thinker and a persuasive Earth Advocate. Your support is helping to build a revolutionary educational system that may even, one day, be a learning template for Ethical Earth Sciences. The message I am sharing about the bees is important. We are some of the Revolutionaries in this industry and are gaining respect in the world of Bee thinking. Thank you for helping me to reach this goal. By sharing my Teachings with Findhorn, Glastonbury, Asheville we will be spreading the ripple of a New Consciousness, perhaps even an Enlightened Consciousness about our relationship with the Earth. I thank you DEEPLY for all you have already given and continue to share with me. I feel buoyed, most of all, spiritually. Charged with a deep sense of responsibility. Your support makes me work harder! Here is a wonderful quote that inspires me (from -Luckey Bunny Ananda) : I encounter a lot of people (myself included) who are deep in passive despair - the underlying belief that the Earth, or at least humanity, is headed nowhere good and not knowing really what to do about it, we carry on as usual. Here's what I know- There is so much more possible than any human can see or imagine. This field of possibility could, and is even likely to, include something profoundly good. The stories we tell tend to be the stories we live. If we tell the story that we're doomed, it's much more likely to be true. If we tell the story of hope, possibility and magic, we have a higher likelihood of discovering something new. I am choosing to keep the channels of belief in transformation and imagination open. This is a hard task that I must recommit to almost daily. It is so profoundly worth it.
Aiming High! Research Trip & Findhorn November 2015! Our Mission: To bring the practice of Beekeeping into ethical and resonant harmony with the bees, world-wide. Goal: Research, Networking, bring bee-centric beekeeping and bee history to the world-stage ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The College of the Melissae; Center for Sacred Beekeeping is an international school based in Ashland OR that has developed a revolutionary new curriculum for the study of the Bee. Through exploration into the Six-Fold Path: Science, Sacred, History, Mystery, Art/Medicine & Activism, the College Students become highly informed and capable beekeepers who can speak to the sovreignty of the Bee and model animal-harmony in the context of the modern apicultural and agricultural landscape. Science: The College of the Melissae teaches bee-centric methodology that focuses on providing shelter, robust diverse forage, sensitive handling and natural selection. Activism: An important element of the college's work is a focus on great forage and activism: This year has shown tremendous progress as we were able to donate seeds, irrigation and hundreds of hours of labor to our Community Garden Project. We are in deep service to the bee and are fortunate that our work is beginning to be recognized: Huffington Post: World-Changers to Watch, 2014 Bee Luminaries Award, 2015 E-town E-Commerce Award, 2015 Findhorn Weeklong Bee Immersion, August 6, 2016 This Fall Laura Bee is going to visit Findhorn for a week to meet with the administrators to discuss the College of the Melissae's future work with their prestigious institution. She will spend her extra time networking, researching for a Sacred Sites Tour of Great Britain to follow her Aug 6-12th 2016 Findhorn Workshop, collect special honeys, and teach in several cities: Glastonbury, Budapest and Asheville on the way home. We are raising money for the plane ticket and fees to attend a course at Findhorn November 2015. Should more be raised, funds will go toward winterizing our 19 Hives and start-up for some great product ideas. For more information about this program, please look to our webpage: collegeofthemelissae.com Funding this trip will help get the timely message of treatment-free, bee-centric beekeeping out into the world.
