Pesticides, People, Pollinators, and the Planet:Safer, Healthier Practices and Policies * Bee Happy Hour: Friday, April 15, 5 - 7 pm * Conference: Saturday, April 16, 8 am - 5 pm including a keynote address, 6 panels, & workshops
You are invited to the first-ever conference in the Rogue Valley hosting national and regional experts speaking on the important topic of pesticides, people, pollinators, and the planet!
Friday evening will kick off the weekend with a “Bee Happy Hour." Bring your honey! :-) This fundraiser ($20 at the door) will support the Conference and our Pollinator Buzzway initiative.
You will have the chance to meet Phyllis Stiles, the Queen Bee herself! Stiles is the visionary leader and founder of Bee City USA, a national nonprofit organization based in Asheville, North Carolina.
Saturday's Conference will be chock-full of activities, beginning with a keynote address by Kim Leval, the Executive Director of the Northwest Center for Alternatives to Pesticides. The conference will include six panels, lunch, and several workshops. ($10; free to students with valid ID)
Laura Bee will be presenting and acting as moderator!!
